The pupil premium is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. For more information from the Department of Education, click here.
The Pupil Premium Plus is a payment made to schools to help raise the attainment of children in care. From 1 April 2014 all children in care, who have been in care under the Adoption & Children Act 2002 and children who have left care under Special Guardianship or Residence Order, are eligible for Pupil Premium Plus.
Our multi-academy trust holds an overall policy outlining the principles for the schools in the alliance. Please click here to visit the appropriate policy page on the Gloucestershire Learning Alliance website.
