The Great Outdoors
We are fortunate to have a great outdoor environment here at Springbank. With fully trained Forest School staff, children enjoy a range of experiences in the woodland area. Our nature area and pond is also an ideal chance for children to have first-hand experience of nature and wildlife.
A huge field and outdoor play equipment provides a chance for children to enjoy regular exercise, with a number of sports fixtures shared with participating schools.
We are very grateful to Tescos Farm to Fork project for working with us to develop the gardens, improve our sensory garden and work on a project to develop children's awareness of where food comes from. Joining forces with our local MP, parents, staff and students from All Saints Academy, the gardens are an additional learning resource for children. We would also like to thank a parent, Ben Rann, for his very kind donation of wood carvings. Mr Rann's carvings a true work of art and, should you wish to purchase some yourself, he can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone on 07450883782.
