Admissions

Although, Springbank Primary is an academy, admissions for Reception places are co-ordinated through the Gloucestershire Local Authority’s Co-ordinated Scheme and its timetable. Parents will need to apply for a place in the Reception classes of the Academy on the Common Application Form if they wish their child to be considered for a place.

In year admissions

In-year applications are all those made outside the normal admissions round for children of compulsory school age i.e. those applications made during the academic year (after the first day of the Autumn term) for any school place in Reception through to Year 6. For in-year applications parents should apply directly to the school by contacting the school office who will arrange a meeting with the head of school or executive head teacher and arrange for an admissions pack including an application form to be made available. The Multi-Academy Trust board are committed to ensuring that admissions to GLA Academies reflect the full range of ability in our inclusive schools.

Visits are warmly encouraged so that parents and children have a chance to see our school and chat to the head of school or executive head teacher. This will include a tour of the school and a chance for you to ask any questions.
